2026: New Year, More Fun! 🎉

Happy 2026 everyone! What a wonderful time to be kicking off ministry strong this January.  💪🏻 At this time of the year, the kiddos are actually on summer break! It feels silly to say that as most of you are experiencing some snow, but seasons are swapped here. ❄️🌧️ With the kids on summer break, we are fully back into longer group times!

As we plan and prepare for the new year and all the fun, exciting activities, the kids have enjoyed quality time together! 👧🏽👦🏽

Usually in youth group during the school year, the teens watch segments of their favorite show. Though with summer break, they got to start off with being able to watch several in ONE night! 🤩 If you know much about kids, you know TV is serious bonding time haha.

As for Saturday (all kids group), they all got to watch a movie together! Watching kids movies is an especially fun time because it isn’t too common for us to do it during all kids group together.

This is also the perfect opportunity for the kids to split up and do whatever activities they want to do! Whether that is playing games on their phone, playing with dolls, painting their nails, or simply chit chatting in the corner. 💅🏻📲🧸 If there’s an empty space in the room, then there’ll be kids there. That is really what this ministry is all about. Giving the kids a safe space to be themselves and simply have fun, however that may be! 💜🩵

We are thankful to be able to have this time together and are excited for the new year!
