How it Began
In 2016 and 2017, this ministry began with Raegan meeting with a few girls in their neighborhood. By 2018 it had become an official nonprofit with about twenty kids coming. We still met in the neighborhood until we (Jon & Raegan) were able to buy a home in the city. Our ministry stays within that number of kids, but the ages now go from four years old to twenty! We believe in a close knit support system. The ministry is a safe place for them to come and build relationships while having supportive adults who listen and care. We hope to see them grow in confidence and chase after their dreams.
We focus on fun activities, learning workshops, and building relationships. We spend time learning English, practicing instruments, teaching reading skills, and encouraging each youth to continue their education and pursue their dreams. Our heart is to see them thriving in their God given talents and potential. During the week we do crafts, play games, and watch our current favorite TV shows together. We meet several times a week after school and once over the weekend.

Jon & Raegan Yerty
Jon and Raegan met in Iquitos, working together at YWAM. After getting married in 2017, they officially started the ministry as a 501c3 Nonprofit, bought their house, and created a safe reliable place for ministry from their home.
